Frey and Freya, brother and sister, are members of the Vanir, a group of fertility gods who rule alongside the Aesir.

Frey

A fertility god, ruling over rain, sunshine, farming, and wealth. In myth, he gives up his magic sword for the love of a beautiful giantess, who will be his wife. In the Ragnarok, he battles (swordless) with Surtur, a fire fiend.

Freya

Known as the most beautiful of the goddesses, she is constantly being asked to sleep with various gods, dwarves, and giants in return for favors.
